The "lick test" doesn't prove anything is a fossil, just that something is porous. Lots of rocks can be porous. Please, do yourself a favor, and do not lick rocks. I am not seeing anything fossil like, here. This looks like some sort of limestone, to me. Wait for some other opinions, however.
