Gulf Coast 23 Variside ride and draft | 2 Cool Fishing Forum
I'm looking for any reviews on the Gulf Coast 23VS. I have a 21 Trancat but looking at a GC. I know it won't get where my cat will but I hardly push that cat shallower than a ft of water. I am looking to do bay, jetty, and light offshore. I am trying to decide between a bigger cat and a Gulf Coast 23VS. Thanks

Gulf coast boats I use to own the 22 classic great all around boat. Ran super dry but not very smooth in rough water at high speeds but if u kept it under 22mph it would run comfortable enough in rough waters. Could get up in soft bottom in 12-14" n on plane in 7-8". Had about a 8-10" draft.

I have a gulf coast currently and would rather talk straight with the manufacturer v's and dealer. I have had better results talking with Susan in the past v's the dealer that sold me the boat. You can buy fishing rights from private fat cats that have manipulated the system 4, You can buy fresh snapper year round in Racine Wisconsin , but you get a 60 day season here ( most of it in June when its blowin like a *****)
